URVERTRAUEN Series

The progress of the series “Urvertrauen” continues. Painting like this is like reaching blindly into the fruit basket, your hand finds what your eyes no longer need to see. Based on the concept of real time planning, which finds its continuation from itself, "Urvertrauen" is the visualisation of what instant composing is in music. I experience in every artistic act, how this state makes us feel having access to our basic trust (Urvertrauen), and how it transforms fear and competition into healthy and constructive social energy. If planning follows principles of intention, this does not arise. It makes me obviously believe this is in tune with the principles of nature, similar as a plant that grows anew every year, differently, always adapting to the needs of the present. SALON SONGS
24 new songs: composition-time each: max. 10 min

SALON SONGS, a new concept of essenceofnorth.

24 new songs, created each in 10 minutes, respecting all first ideas and converting them immediately into a structure, guided only by the emotion of the notes. All Salon Songs are for Violin and Contraalto Clarinet.

The entire cycle is a visualization of how the power of spontaneous creation and its conscious perception becomes visible and audible. In addition to the surprisingly touching results, I also see this kind of work as an inspiration and strengthening of creative potential. This honest way of expressing oneself, as this exercise in spontaneity shows, is only possible in art, and music can even do it in real time. I am very happy after every little song that grows in 10 minutes, and if from time to time there is one wich doesn't have the potential to move the heart, he will become a teacher.

FLUCSUS news

The new FLUCSUS mouthpiece for Bassetthorn and Altoclarinet is available. This makes the series almost complete for all clarinets. To complete the clarinet series it needs only the Eb-Clarinet (will follow this year!). The difference between FLUCSUS and standard mouthpieces can be heard most radically on the Bassetthorn and Altoclarinet We think its complete possibilities became alive only now. FLUCSUS mouthpieces were designed to combine the most fundamental sound possible with an easy response and legato. The fullness of sound and the orientation towards intonation can be felt in every musical constellation. FLUCSUS mothpieces have been redesigned from scratch and provide an expanded and previously unheard sound dimension to the family of clarinets. A musician friend wrote to me: “Suddenly you no longer have to practise sound. You save a lot of annoying practicing time with this mouthpiece, it is really much better than the old ones.”

Weich Landen in der Unendlichkeit der Möglichkeiten. Dahinter steckt der Gedanken, dass Tradition nicht der Erhalt sondern die Entwicklung der Dinge bedeutet, so kann sie ihre Verdienste in Dienste umwandeln. Die sorgfältig ausgewählte Instrumentation umspannt diverse Jahrhunderte der Instrumenten- und Musik-Geschichte. Die Inspiration die aus der Instrumenten-Kombination von Viola da Gamba, Kontraalt-Klarinette und Vibraphon generiert wird, macht diese Klangschmelze hör- und fühlbar. Ursprung und Gegenwart (frei nach Jean Gebsers grossem Werk) werden lebendig erlebbar machen in Form von aktueller Musik, von den Ausführenden dafür kreiert. Eine musikalische Werksammlung, in der Welten einiger Jahrhunderte europäischer Musizier- und Instrumental-Kunst in der Gegenwart wirken.
